Adam Jasinski was the winner of the popular television series "Big Brother 9" where he earned the $500,000 prize. Adam later admitted to using portions of the money to buy large quantities of drugs to both use and distribute. He was charged in 2009 by the DEA for possessing 2,000 Oxycodone pills with intent to distribute. Adam faced a possible 20 year prison sentence and a one million fine. He was sentenced in January 2011 to four years in federal prison for the drug charge and tax evasion. Today, Adam is sober and works as a consultant and mentor in the drug treatment and mental health industry.
